What is skincare stacking? Popularized by the multi-step layering method of Korean skincare routines, skincare stacking refers to the product application process. To ensure maximum product efficacy, skincare must be applied in an order that allows effective absorption, from lightest to heaviest formulation. After cleansing, begin with the applying a serum on slightly damp skin. Then apply moisturizer to seal in the serum’s essential nutrients and vitamins. Gently apply eye cream to hydrate and protect the delicate skin around the eyes. Lastly, be sure to put on broad spectrum sunscreen to shield your skin from UV rays and act as a final seal for the previously applied products.
